Privacy

Short version: no accounts, no email, and your shortlist never leaves your browser.

What stays in your browser

Your saved names and your last generator inputs (keywords, industry and styles) are stored in your browser's localStorage so they are still there next time. They are never sent to our servers.

What is sent to our server

  • Domain checks: the domain-form of a name (for example "harborpine") so we can ask the registries if it is registered. We keep a short in-memory cache for up to 10 minutes to avoid repeat lookups, then it is discarded.
  • AI requests: only when you press an AI button, the text you entered (description, name, tone) is sent through Vercel AI Gateway to an OpenAI model to write the response. We do not store it.
  • Rate limiting: your IP address is held in memory for a few minutes to enforce fair-use limits.

Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics, a cookieless analytics service, to count page views and see which pages are useful. It does not use cookies or build advertising profiles.

Outbound links

"Register" links open a registrar's search page; trademark and register links open official government databases. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
