• Business names you generate
• Names you mark as favorites
• Notes you add to saved names
• Your name generation history and preferences
• Domain availability check results

This data never leaves your device and is completely under your control. You can clear it at any time using your browser's settings.

Third-Party Services

Domain Availability Checks

When you check domain availability, we use public DNS-over-HTTPS services (Google Public DNS or Cloudflare DNS). These services may log DNS queries according to their own privacy policies:

Optional AI Features

If you choose to use AI-enhanced name generation (optional feature), your business description and keywords may be sent to AI providers for processing. This is:

• Opt-in only: AI features require explicit user action
• Not stored: We don't store your prompts on our servers
• Swappable: You can use the tool without AI features

Your Control

You have complete control over your data:

• Export: Download your favorites and history as JSON or CSV
• Delete: Clear individual items or all data at once
• Transfer: Move data between devices using export/import
• Browser Clear: Standard browser data clearing removes all BrandNameSmith data

No Cookies or Tracking

BrandNameSmith does not use:

• Advertising cookies
• Analytics or tracking scripts
• Social media pixels
• Third-party data collection services

Data Security

Since all data is stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB:

• Data is protected by your device's security
• No server breaches can expose your data (because there's no server storage)
• Use device encryption and strong passwords for maximum security
